New Basketball Court

Trinity Christian Community, after months of preparation and planning finally was able to demolish and then extend our current basketball court.  We cannot say enough about two men who came down from Naperville Illinois.  We are so thankful to Paul and Doug for coming down to help us! Without these men’s service and expertise this project wouldn’t have been completed as quickly, efficiently, or effectively.  I’ve included the pictures I took from my camera phone.  More will be posted shortly.

Before we could lay new concrete Doug had to first break up and move the old concrete.

This is the concrete surrounding the base for the goal system

This is where we dump the concrete. They grind it up and create new concrete.

This is our first load of concrete

Here we are in the middle of the first dump.

The court was broken and dug out. Here is the first installment of gravel.

In order to get all of the gravel out of the truck Doug had to go into the truck to pull it out.

Doug would enter the back of the semi, grab a load and drag it out.

After we got all the gravel out of the first truck we realized that the truck got its back tires stuck in the mud. We tried to pull it out with our truck.

The Naperville F650 didn't work so then we hooked it up to the Semi with the second load of gravel. Doug tried to give it an extra shove from behind with the bobcat.

Success!

Finally we got the truck out of the mud. We all breathed a sigh of relief.

Keep Posted.  More pictures to follow.

Finally we have a new basketball court!
